2. Why do you think Jesus tells his followers to “wait for the gift my Father promised,” the Holy Spirit? What is it like to wait for God?

Part 2: HIS POWER

1. What reactions do you have to stories of people being filled with the Holy Spirit’s power, in the Bible or today?

2. What do you think of walking in the same power Jesus had to announce good news, to heal, and to do miracles?

3. Do you desire to live everyday full of the Spirit? What are you willing to surrender to give God your yes?

Part 3: Everyday presence

1. Do you tend to see your Christian life as a struggle or as walking in
   victory?

2. What has your life been like when you were disciplined in spiritual
   practices – prayer, the Bible, worship – versus when you’ve neglected them?

3. Are you aware of what spiritual gifts God has given you? If so, how has that affected your spiritual growth?

1. Have you ever been blessed by someone else’s spiritual gift? or blessed them with yours? How did that build up the body of Christ?

2. What is your experience with prophecy? Has the Holy Spirit ever spoken to you a message for someone else?

3. Have you ever thought you received a prophetic word but it was wrong? How was it when it was right?

2. Have you ever seen anyone miraculously healed? Whether yes or no, how does that affect your faith?
