Jesus’ plan for the salvation of the world involves us! As his disciples, he authorizes, empowers, and sends us to GO make disciples (Matt 28:18-20), who in turn make disciples who make disciples - and the cycle continues! 

This all-day training will equip you to GO and lead others through the first step of becoming a disciple of Jesus. Its approach is simple, biblical, practical, and reproducible. By taking part in this training we will all gain the same biblical knowledge, language and practical process of making disciples who make disciples.

Registration covers the cost of the Disciple-Making Training Manual that is used in all parts of the training. We will meet in the NextGen Lounge (Entrance A).

Official membership involves a greater level of participation in, and a greater commitment to, the life of Elim Church. So, come learn our mission and vision, where church membership fits in our journey with Jesus, the qualifications and process, what we believe, and how we function. Then you can make your own prayerful, informed decision about membership at Elim Church.

Our building is humming with activity on Wednesday Nights at MDWK!

Join us on the first Wednesday of the month for a family-style supper and discussion around tables. Each month we will focus on a different topic. Click the button below to see the schedule for the evening.

Subsequent Wednesdays of the month, we will hear from various speakers on that topic and continue on with our discussions around tables.

This will be a very relaxed, informal atmosphere and the perfect place to invite a friend! All are welcome. Come between 6-7pm to eat with us! Kids (0-10yrs) can head to kids club at 6:30am (same for youth grades 6-12).

Please register for each month's meal so we can ensure we have the correct amount of food. Meal is free or by donation. No need to register for the other Wednesdays.

There is no Elim Kids on December 24 and 31.

Elim Church and Inspire our Nation are partnering to bring Christmas blessing to Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation on Saturday, December 16th.  The church bus will leave Elim at 10 am and will be back at 8 pm.  Lunch is included. There is no registration cost but for those taking the bus, please bring a $10 donation to help with fuel costs. SEATS ARE LIMITED. 

If you’re taking your own vehicle or are carpooling please register the number of people attending to ensure that you are registered for the complimentary lunch.   

If you would like to bless our friends in the form of Christmas baking, please drop this off at church from December 10 to 15th. 

Police checks for vulnerable people will be needed for those 18 and older.  Please get this looked after as soon as possible, as the process can take up to a week to complete. Please email angela@elimchurch.ca for more information.

The introduction of MAiD (medical assistance in dying) in Canada in 2016 was a significant change in our practices at the end of life. How should we as Christians think about MAiD? for ourselves? for our family members? for our society? This evening will feature an expert panel (see below) who will discuss and answer questions related to MAiD from their Christian and professional perspectives to give you an opportunity to listen, learn, think, and pray through the important issues.

Registration is not required to attend, but is helpful as we plan.

Dr. Steve Harris is Pastor of Discipleship here at Elim as well as Adjunct Professor of Theology at Horizon College and Seminary. 

Rev. Marvin Wojda has been a pastor for over 40 years with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, including, of course, serving Elim as Lead Pastor for over 30 years. 

Dr. Gene Marcoux is Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Saskatchewan, specializing in severe and persistent mental illness, including suicide.

Dr. Lola Ayotunde is Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Saskatchewan and has served on the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission.

Dr. Rotimi Kolawole is a physician working with chronic pain and addiction medicine at the Access Place Clinic in Prince Albert.

Olujimi Kolawole is an acute care medical social worker with experience in palliative and long-term care.

Jim Lloyd is the Executive Director of JCL Care Foundation Inc which operates a Levels 1-4 seniors’ Personal Care Home.
